Every Friday at 5 pm, each lab in the department rotates to host Happy Hour. Over food and drink, researchers across the department gather to meet new people, catch up with friends, and exchange ideas about their research. Labs can get pretty creative, so you might see food designed around a theme or maybe a local band!
In warm weather, we hold other events like BBQs and ice cream socials, and each December, we throw a Cell Bio Holiday Party, complete with candy canes, gingerbread houses, and design-your-own paper snowflakes.
