All postdocs have opportunities to interact with Departmental faculty members in a variety of settings, including journal clubs, scientific workshops, career development workshops, informal “mentoring teas,” departmental retreats, and individually-coached training sessions for our weekly student/postdoc departmental seminar series.
Postdocs are specifically encouraged to choose a secondary Departmental faculty mentor soon after their arrival. Your secondary mentor can help you in several aspects of scientific and career development and broaden your Departmental connections.
